In the 1990s, sport utility vehicles earned their popularity for their car-like features for passenger comfort and interior storage while being able to handle light towing, hauling, and off-roading like trucks. Its competitors, like the three-row Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator, barely even compare to the 2022 Grand Wagoneer. After the Wagoneers were discontinued, new-age SUVs lost much of their ruggedness and capabilities.
